QE 2.0

QE 2.0 is a Windows 3.x editor for all the QuadraSynth models:
  • QS4/QS5 (the original models)
  • QS4+/QS5+ (also referred to as QuadraSynth Plus Piano) 
  • QS6 
  • QS7 
  • QS8 
  • QSR 

With QE 2.0, you can easily create, save and load Program, Effect and Mix patches. It also has a library module that you can use to organize your patches. Other features are: 

  • edit of multiple sounds within a program patch simultaneously
  • edit of multiple channels within a mix simultaneously 
  • edit of multiple drum sounds of a drum patch 
  • copy sounds to other sounds 
  • copy PARTS of sounds to other sounds of the same program patch, or even to sounds of another program patch 
  • view and print patch parameters 
  • randomize parameters of programs and effects 
  • three edit modes: dry edit, update on request and immediate update
  • fast virtual keyboard that can be used for prelistening of patches or for setting keyboard ranges 

How about a Macintosh version?

I receive many many requests for a Macintosh version of QE. No matter how much I would like to write a Mac version of QE, I just do not have the time nor the means. 

Fortunately there now is hope for all those Mac owners out there: Eric Adles has announced he wants to port QE to the Macintosh platform. If you want to know more, contact Eric.

 

Can I test QE?

You can download a free demo version of QE 2.0

The demo is a fully functional version of QE 2.0; however, it has a time-limit of 20 minutes per run, and it also displays an 'unregistered version' message at startup.

What do I do if I want to purchase QE?

If you decide to purchase QE without the time limit, you should register QE. Registering QE is done with the REGISTER.EXE program. Click here to download the REGISTER program.

When you register, you will receive the latest update of QE 2.0 by email or on disk, together with a printed manual, and the "Building patches with the QuadraSynth" tutorial. Registration of QE 2.0 costs $15,-- (+ sh/h if sent by mail)
